Bowen Technique Training

Courses are held throughout the country, I currently run courses in the following areas:
• Norfolk • West Midlands • Shropshire • Devon • Mid Wales

ECBS training is recognised by BCMA BTPA CThA BABTAC and has professional links to FHT and the College of Chiropractors.

The Bowen Training is set up in a modular basis with four training levels and a fifth asessment level.

Part One teaches a detailed explanation of the concept of the Bowen Technique. Students under close supervision practice on each other and at the end of this course will have the skills to perform a full body treatment.

Part Two aims to ensure that your knowledge of the basic moves is solid. By this stage, you will have gained some experience through the practice of the technique and Part Two will build on and refine this. At this point in the course, you will be in the process of compiling the case histories, so assistance and discussion will also focus on this.

Part Three teaches additional procedures. Up until now, the procedures learned have dealt primarily with the structural aspects of the body.  Part Three expands on this as well as introducing procedures that focus more on the organic and energetic systems of the body.

There is a minimum interval of four months between Part One and Part Three. The submission of your 10 client case histories, four weeks before commencing this level, is a course requirement for attending Part Three.  These receive a written evaluation, providing guidance and suggestions for improvement, where required.

At the end of Part Three, you will undertake another ten case studies (30 sessions – 10 people x 3 treatments each). These will be submitted prior to attending Part Five.

Part Four revises the Bowen moves covered in Part Three and aims to consolidate all the moves you have learnt so far.  You will have the opportunity to discuss your case histories and ensure that any questions you have are fully answered.

Part Five is a 3 day course that includes Assessment & Examination. Course dates & venues for Part Five are given to you during Part Three
The submission of 10 more client case histories (30 treatments) is a pre-course requirement.  These receive a written evaluation and form part of the final assessment.
Part Five reviews and practises all work covered.  Students often comment that this is the module where everything seems to fall into place.
